Freshly arrived from Africa, Sherwood Forest is one of the best places to see this rare and magnificent summer visitor.
Join us for a gentle stroll through this ancient forest with your trusty binoculars and a bit of patience.
Our friendly expert will lead the search for this colourful spring migrant, as well as pointing out other seasonal wildlife and birdlife.
Arrive at the Visitors Centre from 8.15 am for a prompt 8.30 am start to the walk. Unfortunately no toilets will be available until after 10 am.
Unfortunately this event is not suitable for wheelchair users or under 8’s.
