October Half Term at The Workhouse and Infirmary

There is plenty to discover this October with the family at The Workhouse and Infirmary from Wednesday 19 – Friday 28 October (10.30am – 4pm). Whether you want to join a trail or meet a pauper as you explore, its all happening during the half term.
Pick up a pumpkin trail (19 – 28 October 2022) – At this time of year, the kitchen gardens are full of big pumpkins. The National Trust have got a special trail to help the whole family explore The Workhouse. Pick one up on your arrival and go hunting for pumpkins.
Workhouse: Live! returns (Thurs 20, Sat 22 and Thurs 27 October) – Come and meet Workhouse characters carrying out traditional tasks. Ask them about their lives and help them with their chores. These friendly costumed intepreters will be delighted to meet you.
Celebrate the Bramley Apple Festival (Sat 29 and Sun 30 October) – On the weekend of 29 and 30 October, they are offering free access to the large field in front of The Workhouse so that everyone can celebrate the Bramley Apple Festival with a host of special activities.
