Brass Band Concert at Newark Castle

Throughout the months of July and August, the historic grounds of Newark Castle play host to the sounds of brass band music on Sundays. Bring along a picnic blanket and deck chair to settle in for some beautiful sounds with a stunning backdrop to match.

To complete the series of brass band events, the ever-popular Brass Band Explosion is the grand finale of the series with a culmination of bands playing throughout the day and family fun activities planned between performances. Scheduled for the Bank Holiday Monday, 28 August, the Brass Band Explosion signals the end of the Newark Festival programme with a vivid firework display set to music.
