Crammed full of intriguing stories and sites of Anglo Saxon, Medieval, Georgian and Victorian Newark, discover the journey of our town through time on this fascinating walking your, led by a knowledgeable guide. This Tour commences at the National Civil War Centre. Please head to the front desk for 1.25pm

Besieged (but never beaten)
Fortnightly from 10 June
This Civil War Tour will take in historical sites of seventeenth century Newark, telling of how its inhabitants dodged cannonball fire and survived plague on a daily basis. From the musket peppered walls of Newark Castle, to contemporary visions of huge explosions that rocked the town. This Tour commences at the National Civil War Centre. Please head to the front desk for 1.25pm
