Animal Trail, Church Treasury and Bishop White Library Display

Did you know there are lots of animals in St Mary’s? Explore the beautiful church to see if you can find them all.

Visitors will also be able to see the church’s Treasury, a crypt that sits under the High Altar and items from the Bishop White Library throughout the festival. The Bishop White Library hosts a collection of books gifted to the church by Thomas White (former Vicar of Newark) at the end of the 17^th century, and includes texts from the period 1600 to 1800 in English, Latin, Greek, Hebrew and other languages.
