Family Learning Event Testimony and Workshop with Hedi Argent MBE

We are delighted to welcome Hedi Argent for our first Family Learning Workshop as part of our summer events.

Hedi came to Britain as a refugee from Austria, escaping Nazi persecution. Hedi’s talk explores many themes such as: friendship, becoming a refugee as a child and how we can support modern day refugees. These themes and more will be explored in the Family Learning workshop with Hedi and one of our educators.

Hedi will speak to families and the public from 1pm-2pm. Our Family Learning Workshop will follow from 2:15-2:45, where families are invited to engage with Hedi’s artefacts, take part in craft activities and have to opportunity to ask Hedi questions about her experience.
