Battlefield Bee

Join the National Civil War Centre as they stitch together the amazing knitted fields sent in for their Knit A Battlefield project. Drop in any time and help them piece the battlefield together in a socially distanced sewing bee in the Tudor Hall. You need only basic sewing skills and materials and tuition will be provided. Kids can come along too and have a go at making hedges.
Social distancing will be observed at all times and a quiet space will be provided for any of you who would prefer to sew in less busy surroundings.

This event is timed to coincide with Family Saturday at the museum. The Battlefield Bee helpers have FREE access to this event which will include family tours of our galleries, so helping at the event is a great opportunity to have a look around the museum.
