Coronation Celebrations

To mark the Coronation of The King and The Queen Consort, community celebrations will take place in Newark Royal Market with music, face painting, children’s activities and a live screening of the event. Picnic tables will be available near the large outdoor screen in the market place for friends and family wishing to bring along their ‘Big Lunch’ to share food and fun! Picnic tables are available on a first-come first-served basis and the general public are welcome to bring their own deck chairs. With Newark Town Hall providing a historic backdrop for the live screening* and a canopy of bunting above the market stalls, it’s set to be a memorable day.
