There are many tales told about the origins of Pysanky eggs. Were they made to symbolise sunshine after a long winter season, or perhaps to tighten the chains that bound a monster in the Carpathian mountains?
Either way, join artist Tory Hayward and Open Doors in this traditional Ukranian creative celebration of Easter.
Using wax resist and dyes onto a chicken’s egg you will leave this workshop with your own traditional Ukrainian Pysanky egg. Things could get messy so please wear suitable clothing. All materials are provided.
Suitable for adults and children over 12. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
