Heritage Open Days: Musical Instrument Craft

Guided tours of our Guitar, Piano, Violin and Woodwind workshops at Newark College, the home of Musical Instrument Crafts.
Newark College’s Musical Instrument Craft degree courses offer expert training and education to become makers, repairers and restorers of Guitars, Pianos, Violins and Woodwind instruments all over the world. Guided tours of the workshops will take place on Friday 16th September 2022 at 1000, 1200 and 1330, starting from Newark College’s main reception. The tour will give visitors an insight into this specialist craft industry, offering a chance to see work in progress on instruments being made and restored. Advanced booking is essential.
