Led by award-winning photographer Alex Wilkinson, this photography workshop is perfect for wildlife and photography enthusiasts alike who want to get the most from their phone’s camera.
In recent times, people are rarely found without their phones in our pocket or bag, meaning they are moments away from being able to capture the beauty of the world around us as we notice it.
The amazing advancements in phone camera technology has meant that we can capture excellent quality snapshots of our lives and turn them into lasting memories.
The workshop will provide you with the skills and knowledge to maximise your phone as a camera and take photographs that your friends and family won’t believe are from that small (but mighty powerful) device!
Some of the things you will learn on the workshop are:
• Which photo mode (e.g. portrait mode) to use and when
• Enhancing images with focus points and blur background
• Composition
• Lighting and exposure
• About nature and the forest
No prior photography experience is required. All you need is a fully charged iPhone and some comfortable shoes to walk in around the forest.
Please note, the workshop takes place on foot and will involve around an hour to an hour and a half of walking.
The workshops are designed to be fun, relaxed and informative.
