December 1st is National Mistletoe Day and we’re marking the occasion with Sherwood Forest’s legendary lovebirds Robin Hood and Maid Marian.
And who better to explain the origin of the tradition than…er…the Sheriff of Nottingham?
Join RSPB Sherwood Forest for this historical trip down Lovers’ Lane and discover why kissing beneath the pure white berries of the mistletoe plant was a tradition celebrated by, of all people, the Vikings.
