100 festive and Steampunk curiosity stalls, street food, zany street entertainers, live music, a torchlight procession through the town and Morris dancing. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the the final day of the Christmas Tree Festival at St. Mary Magdalene Church. Adjacent to the market square it is easy to locate. The festivities begin at 11.00am with the community nativity. Why not return for the Carol Service at 5:00pm too.
At 6:00pm, the torchlit Steampunk procession begins at the top of Kirk Gate, featuring 150 torches that light the way to Church Walk and the Market Place before receiving the Mayor of Newark. Finishing at 6:30pm and also showcasing the talent of Morris Dancers, it’s an event not not be missed!
