Palace at the Castle: Horrible Histories – Gorgeous Georgians & Vile Victorians

Join the Palace Theatre team in the stunning grounds of Newark Castle this summer as they transport the magic of the stage to this wonderful historic setting. Enjoy the sunshine as you settle on your blankets and escape to lands of imagination from Wonderland to Mole and Ratty’s idyllic river and even period drama heaven in 18th century England.
Are you ready to swing with a Georgian king? Does the Duke of Wellington get the boot? Dare you dance the Tyburn jig? And will you be saved by Florence Nightingale? Find out what a baby farmer did and move to the groove with ‘Party Queen’ Victoria! Don’t miss this horrible history of Britain with the nasty bits left in!
