Wars of the Roses Weekend

A host of brilliant Medieval re-enactment groups descend on Sherwood Forest to recreate one of the most troubled eras of English history – the Wars of the Roses.

Step back in time to the sights and sounds of the 15th Century. There will be clashes of on the battlefield in the Skirmish of Sherwood and the Tournament of Champions.

There are also fabulous costumes to admire in a fashion show, and demonstrations of some of the incredible artisan skills of the age.
